Thread: Looking to buy an NX what should I look for?

First of all, hi, new member here. I'm a Honda guy at heart (no hating please) but I have my eyes set on a 93 NX2000. Completely stock. I drove it yesterday, it has a lot of oil leaking from the valve cover (bad gasket?), passenger door and window does not open (Lock does not disengage, he bought the window regulator but cant replace because door doesnt open). Has exhaust rattle and possible leak. All these are easy fixes, the things that bothered me is that its a city car so it has dings and dents all around and whats worse it has some rot on the passenger side rear rocker. Driver side is good. Also it has rust at the base of the rear hatch window glass.
So my question, are these deal breaker rust spots or easy fixes? I feel like everything else is an easy fix. (I'm not a mechanic but I am mechanically inclined)
Its got just over 120k miles and I tried negotiating with the guy, he wont go for less than $1,100 which seems reasonable to me.

Be sure to get a visual on the rear strut towers. Also door jambs, and under sideskirts if possible.
