Guy from Australia, fwd power steering pump question.
Hey guys, I'm hoping that someone here could help me out, I need to replace my water pump and I've read in my Haynes manual that I need to take the power steering pump out.
After that it says that during the refitting process that I should replace the sealing rings, my question is where could I go to get the rings or if there is anywhere that sells a set of sealing rings.

Thank you for any help you may be able to give me.

It means the copper washers on the pressure hose, you don't need to touch them though, just remove the 14mm pivot bolt and move the pump out if the way, no need to disconnect any hoses.

Will give you more than enough space to work.

Agreed. There is no reason to remove the power steering pump. You will have to move the engine up and down to gain access to the water pump bolts (so you'll want to support the engine and unbolt some engine mounts) but none of us really mess with the power steering pump when we do water pump replacements.

Thanks guys, I was hoping I wouldn't have to remove the power steering.
Takes a huge stress off of me knowing I don't have to worry about that too haha.

All the best and hopefully I don't have to come back to ask more questions soon.
