Back into the B13 Scene
I doubt anyone remembers when I had my base model B13 back in 2009 with the Confederate flag spray painted on the roof. I planned on going 1.6L to a GTi-R swap but never got around to getting all of the necessary parts. Ended up selling the car and drove a Toyota Solara for awhile then got a project P11 G20t that was a DE-T but needed work and ended up selling it. Somehow being 6'1 230lbs I decided to buy a Miata and after almost getting ran off the road every week I sold that too. Now I was looking for a daily driver car I could have fun with within a $1500 budget. I was lucky and found a 92 P10 G20 5spd for $1200 which I was suppose to buy tomorrow but since I was still car shopping in case something better came up I ended up with this little ginger. I found this baby on Tampa Craiglist.. a 92 B13 SE-R. A tow company purchased it from the previous owner which was a 19yr old kid that threw a rod thru the block and called them to tow the car. I guess the kid didn't know how much a DE sells for and his mechanic told him how much it could cost to get another bottom end and labor and the kid and his parents decided to get him a new car instead. The cars not in perfect condition there are some dents a few rust spots and it seems to have a cheap Macco paint job but overall for the price I got it for it was a great deal. Best part is I'm picking up another motor tomorrow for $450 and the car will be running before the weeks over. Oh btw I live in Davenport but I'm always around Clermont and Orlando so if you happen to see me around say what's up!

trust me bro I know but I don't have the funds right now. I'm near Orlando and there's 3 or 4 shops that important motors now and they all sell VE's for $800 so I'm going to pick one up before the years over.

Welcome back to a B13. Quite a fun change and unlike a Miata, people see a Sentra on the road. They may not care, but at least they see you!

So the car got towed to the shop this morning and I dropped off the JDM SR20DE off this afternoon. I should get the car back saturday or monday. Once it's running plans are to get it back to mint condition meaning some body work and rust repair, paint, get a few missing interior pieces, coilovers and wheels, find a B14 trans, and do a small VE-T build. Final product I want is a clean lowered B13 with a VE-T that makes around 380whp.
