Blank Slate In SC Lowcountry
Greetings everybody!

Glad to be apart of this site, from my browsing I can see there is a wealth of information and knowledge to be had here. I'm completely new to both working on SR20's and working on cars in general, but I'm ready and willing to learn all I can. I have a 1991 SE-R that I absolutely love. It needs a good bit of work, and its basically just a blank slate right now. I've had it for two years, bought it with less than 100k miles on it. Learned the hard way what happens when you dont change your oil, but luckily was smart enough to keep the car and have another SR20DE put in it. In the past few months I've gained interest in making her all that she can be. My goal as of now is to get my feet wet in autocross. Not looking to become a champion, just want the experience, learn what I can from the experts, and to have a good time. My next project is to change all four struts. The car still has the stock struts and springs from 1991 on it and they are shot. The new struts should be here today, so any advice for first time changing struts/mistakes not-to-make, let me know! And if there's anyone in the Bluffton/Beaufort/HHI area that drives/knows/works on B13's, I'm right around the corner.

Hope to learn alot!

Preston
