Thread: NOOB from SD

Yo.

I was never into cars till a few months ago. When I came back from deployment, my tC was totaled while it was parked when my father borrowed it for work. In replacement, my parents got me a 99' Nissan Sentra, all rice'd out. Not really my thing. At that point, being the 3rd owner of this ghetto lookin' car, I decided to make it a project to work on into my liking. I have some ideas, but lack the resources and knowledge. I hope with the vast threads of this forum and help from the veterans, I'll be able to restore this little beast.

In replacement, (because it was my originally my sister's car) they gave me a 99' Nissan Sentra (Iam now the 3rd owner, so there was quite a lot done to it) that was all rice'd out. Not really my thing, but brought me from A to B. I grew tired of looking at it, so I decided to take up the cars as a hobby on the side and I hope through the vast number of posts and help from the veterans here I can get this old gem shinning again.

Welcome to the Dash. You need to lose that molded into body rear bumper. I'm assuming you have a 2.0 by the looks of the rear tails but you were given a bastardize front plain 1.6 front bumper.

Thanks! Agreed, that rear bumper needs to go. I just don't know how to go about it since it's molded in. I'm planning on replacing the front with 98' bumper unless I can find a cheap Lucino bump.

First post was pending approval that's why it didn't show up, all good now.

Welcome home and welcome to the dash. Trade the car for another B14 Chassis. With the body work and everything molded in you're better off starting fresh
