Another classic Classic?!?!
On the way to work this morning I spotted a clean, black, 4 door B13 that appeared to have a classic plate on it. I've seen it before on the way into work, but I never noticed the tag. But today I got a clear shot at it, white tag with purple-ish lettering, but I MUST track it down and confirm.

I may have started a trend.

Spotted this B13 in a parking lot today and confirmed that it does NOT have a classic plate. It's a special organization type plate, similar to this one...

The background colors were faded so it looked white, until I got close to it.

Got one here :-) I want to get a custom one that say something like B13-SR20. I think it would be pretty dope!

Nice that you can customize those. In PA and classic or antique tag is issued by the state as they see fit, no customization. Down here the DMV actually "brands" and generates a new title for the vehicle, ONLY after you send in 4 specific pics of the car for review by the state police. Oh, and the car has to appear factory stock as well.

Wow that sucks man, my reg is good for 2 yrs and I didn't have to do any inspection besides emissions and I don't have and restrictions on how many miles a yr or when I drive the car. By the time I renew the reg again Im hoping ill be exempt from emissions!

The benefit for me is that the registration is permanent, no renewal every year, and the car is no longer subject to emissions testing or a "visual". They don't limit my mileage per se, but I'm supposed to limit my use by this definition....

Permitted use shall be limited to participation in club activities, exhibits, tours, parades, occasional transportation and similar uses.” Occasional transportation and similar uses is defined as one day a week.

It's pretty much nonsense, and I doubt cops are on the look-out for the same classic tagged car driving around more than once a week.
