Thread: 2011 Convention Caravan

I want you guys to be knowledgeable of our plans, so here you go:

We are looking at I-85 to I-95 coming from Atlanta (and beyond) to New Jersey. We will need a location in Charlotte and one in Richmond to meet up. Please help out with recommendations and of course, JOIN US

We may need an additional pick up point beyond Richmond, like maybe Baltimore? You guys would know that better than I. Don't hesitate to jump in with ideas.

Just a huge parking lot? There are plenty of cool places to meet and head out, my suggestion would be concord mills area, very easy to get around and tons of pavement.

well as far as for charlotte, we will prolly be looking for somewhere to eat some breakfast at. so maybe an exit with some good places to eat and plenty of parking.

LOL no kidding. But I need the time to work on car.

How far is it past Richmond? Would it be advisible to drive a leg from Charlotte to Bmore and not stop in Richmond? I'm trying to break the trip into 4-5 hour bites.

Is Atlanta on your way from Texas?

Bmore is about 3-3.5 hours from Richmond(if you go trough dc and not around it).
