91 Intake Cam
91 Intake Cam
From: 91 NX2000 Miles: 112k when purchased The Intake cam is the one that is unwrapped. Wrapped is high port exhaust cam, but it is just like a low port exhaust cam, so no use in replacing it.   While I was preparing to install the 91 Intake Cam, I had to open the Valve Cover for the very first time that I've had this car. What I saw in there was shocking... Cat Back Exhaust
This is an eBay 2.37" Cat Back Exhaust.
        Old and New exhausts    With this exhaust the car has been on the jacks a lot of times, fixing the exhaust leaks or installing mufflers.   Below is the muffler that it came with, it was loud and obnoxious. You can find the Muffler's that I've been through here.  Resonator With a '99 cat's been 1.5" longer, I had to shorten the resonator by 1.5"... Cutting:   Attempt at putting the resonator back together one:     That leaked majorly after it got loose... Attempt at putting the resonator back together two: JB Weld and Heat wrap   That worked perfectly, until I was rehanging the muffler and the JB Weld didn't hold... sooooo Attempt at putting the resonator back together three:   That should do it for a very long time, thanks to my dad for welding it together  Last edited by Vadim : 03-30-2008 at 01:32 AM. |
