Some updates are coming soon. I got a brand new Bosch O2 sensor for $30 shipped, I'll tell you guys were to get it from

My knock sensor code is also popping up, so that could be the reason why my MPG's haven't been so great lately...

Good suspension makes you go fast in the twisties..... unless you go with lowering springs .... then its worse than stock

Oh yeah you have a PM about your parts. I couldnt get the rear O2 off =/

Haha yeah I figured its good, so maybe someday I'll man up and spend the amount that I could spend on an engine for the suspension hehe

Yeah. It amazes me that people spend crazy loads of money into crazy setups and still only run lowering springs. Then they whine and wonder why they cant put the power to the ground.

YOU need to spend money on your new engine first.... get that sludge monster out of your car when you can.

Default Timing Chain Tensioner

The Timing Chain Tensioner was replaced in the Fall. Just posting pics now.

There was a rattling noise coming out of the engine on a cold start. So I ordered a new TCT, and replaced the old one. Boy am I happy I did it before something bad happened. Pics below.

New TCT:

Old One:

Big thanks goes out to Mike for helping me diagnose the problem and showing me were to get a new TCT cheap

Default Knock Sensor

My Knock Sensor Malfunction code was showing, code P0325. I checked the Ignition Timing, it was showing up as around 11* TDC.

I replaced the Knock Sensor and bumped the timing to 17* TDC. I am waiting for the ECU to reset it self by being unplugged. Hopefully this will give me more power and better gas mileage

I got the Knock Sensor of eBay, brand new Genuine Nissan one for $65 shipped!

New Knock Sensor:

Nice day for some snow

Here is the Knock Sensor:

You will need a 12" wrench and tons of patience to get it off.

Mine was pretty stuck so I had to find ways to push the wrench, but I could only use my palm, and that wrench would dig into it! So I just figured I would use this

Finally got the Knock Sensor out:

New one on the wire and going back in:

It took me a long while to get the sensor and bolt into the right hole. Clearance is a big issue, esp with the huge anti-freeze pipe that can be hot.

It didn't work for me... well it would but my oil is leaking out. So lets just say I wasted $40 bucks on that stuff

I have tried Marvel's Mystery oil, and it only made the leak worse.

But then I finally tried using some Diesel, were you empty out the oil and add diesel and run the engine for about 5-10 minutes. It worked like magic! After 2 of those cycles my oil was nice and clean and like new even after 500 miles!
