Banged up my DD today - SR20 Community Forum

Was going back to college this morning, and a snow storm came outta no where, could barley see anything. I was doing about 60 and hit some thick slush or ice, not sure what it was. Lost traction on just spun on out Highway 75 came about 3 ft from hitting a road sign, hit a tree branch laying off the side of the road which was an about 45 degree embankment. Slammed the front of my car into those wire fences, spun around got the back of the car and got stuck. Luckily I was able to get myself about being careful enough, but in the process ripped my muffler off since it was caught to the fence. Scared the S H I T outta me! I'm ok but this is the first time I've EVER spun out.... sucks, but luckily it's just some bumpers. Seems like it's vibrating a little more then it use to also. So if anyone has some bumpers they wanna get rid of hit me up!

Now onto the pics.

It's not that bad. Just some bumpers, I got lucky. I'm just glad it wasn't my Sentra

Also seems like the front bumper support is tweaked a bit, need to take the bumper off to see what happened. Also the driver side fog light lens busted, so if anyone has one of those let me know.

thanks, will probably just grab some junkyard bumpers and paint the whole thing flat black if the suspension checks out ok to drive it again lol

wow! glad you are alright i remember having my first spin out. it was really my fault tested a ramp and yeah... lol

Glad your alive man! Glad to hear that the it's not the SE-L too!

A friend of mine totaled his two week old 2005 Golf just last week due to rain and leaves on the ground.

thanks guys really appreciate it. This could've gone really bad if i had spun to the left instead of right meaning going towards on coming traffic or if i was going faster off the road i could've been in some trees, so im just happy im walking right now.
