Mazworx SR Sleeved Engines
We are bringing an off season special pricing for all SR sleeved blocks. Please do note that the pricing does not include cleaning of the block, or final line hone/bore.

If you send us a dirty block, it will automatically incur a 150.00 cleaning fee, which will include hot tank, sand blasting, and we will replace all freeze plugs and oil port plugs.

These blocks will include the following:

Machine, install sleeves (Darton or AEBS)
Bore with torque plate (up to 92mm)
Our custom step deck ( this helps and ensure head gasket sealing and has been proven in our 1400hp race engines). With this, you will not need to deck the block.

You will need to send us a good core block (or purchase one we have instock or do the core exchange program), and your front cover or you can purchase a new one from us.

Price for this block is $929.00 + shipping. Options are:

Clean R/R oil ports -$150.00
Cylinder hone - $185.00
Line hone/bore - $350.00 ( this process is required if changing out main studs or if the block has been sandblasted)

So, step deck, is this where you make the cylinders taller than the surrounding area, or the other way around? Does the $950 include the sleeves? How much would it be to just bore and hone the block to 87mm CP pistons with a torque plate?

^Same question. I was interested in having my DE block bored to 87mm and hot tank steamed. Almost bumped this thread the other day just to see what the price would be.

please explain the stepped deck part of your sleeving procedure/service and explain why this is the best route to go.

im assuming this helps seal with your head gasket (mazhg) but would this also work for other head gaskets ?

Yes that is correct. On all motor engines, we do a 3 thou step deck and turbo we do a 5 thou.

The 929.00 includes Darton or AEBS sleeves.

To just bore & hone a standard block is 320.00

The step deck procedure ensures good gasket sealing around the cylinders. This works with other gaskets that have a grommet type sealing from what we've tried. Cometic's dont really seal well with either way.

If you have questions, you can call and ask for Eric

Why would someone just pay 929.00 for a sleeved block thats not completely done?, I think this is a waste of time. Pay the full price or go home.. I would not consider this a special

If someone has access to a machine shop or has friends that will perform those services for free or a much cheaper price, perhaps then it would be worthwhile.
IMHO to consider the block fully worked over you need all of those services done, so their price is around $1600 which makes more sense...
