I have a stock-type radio, so I have no empirical evidence that would help answer your question. I did note these specs for the smaller battery if they are in any way helpful: 460 crank amps at 32 degrees, 370 cold cranking amps, and 45 reserve capacity.

Sorry I cannot be more helpful.

I prepping my car for IT and PT racing this year. I have gotten most of the sound deadning out and started working on the rubber pad on the firewall. But its really tough working aruodn the harness and heater boxes. is there an easy way to get all that out?

p.s.

I am at 60lbs with the pad still the car.

Have you tried the dry ice thing? Holding dry ice against the stuff and then once it is frozen shattering it with a hammer or something maybe that would help. Mine is just crumbling apart and I havent touched it yet.

Yup did the dry ice thing on the floor and the trunk, but what I am talking about is the heavy rubber pad on the firewall. I pulled the dash and the bar behind it out but the HVAC and the dash harness are really in the way.
