Power Steering Delete
Installed the GTiR in my 200sx and the power steering pump pulley is right up against the fender wall... I was thinking about deleting it anyway. Only problem is that it also drives the water pump and the power steering pump acts as the tensioner. What is the "correct way" to delete the power steering pump and keep the water pump pumping?

Thanks.

You can put together an idler pulley setup - personally I just ran the Electric Water Pump setup to bypass the entire thing - I then had a separate control circuit board that I built that would run the water pump and fans if the temp was above xxx deg. This circuit would also run when the engine was shut off - just like the old VW's use to be. I did this because I noticed that when I parked my car my temp would be at 90 deg C. When I came back 20 minutes later, it would be at 110~115 deg C. After making this change I never came back to an engine that was warmer then I preferred.

You can just use a smaller belt.

But its a pain to put it on correctly.

Is the engine supposed to sit that way? I'd make sure your engine mounts are all right before anything else.

I wound up doing a couple of things to take care of this...

First of all, I think the car had some front end damage at one point and it wasn't pulled out 100%... The car still drives straight with no issues, but I think that's my clearance issue in a nutshell. I went ahead and pulled the motor a bit and dried to straighten that area to no avail... So, what I did instead was to get new bolts for my cross member and push it as far to the left as it would go Before tightening down my rear mount bolts.

I also replaced the fat nut on the power steering pump with a jam nut... That gives me enough space to at least squeeze a belt past and get it installed... tightened all the way with the belt that came with it, I now have about 1/2 an inch of clearance from the pulley. It'll have to be enough for now.
