Gtir swap nx
I recently finished my gtir swap into my nx and I replaced the oil pump and water pump. My car is right and everything went great but my oil psi is allday at 80-90+ under high rpm crusing (say 3900-4300 rpm @ 90mph) is this normal for the new oil pump or might I have a problem? Also does anyone know the specs for what this motor should run? I have an 01 g20 tranny and the car runs great just wanted some extra info on proper running gtirs. And don't tell me to search please.
Thanks

Come on guys. WTF? 33 views and noone is giving me an answer? Someone please let me know.

Also psi is as mentioned before even at crusing around 2600-3200 rpm.

That seems a bit high...cold idle and WOT run about 6 bar which is about what you're running all the time

My Gtir runs around 4 bar (about 60psi) when cruising according to the OEM gauge...after it's warmed up

Does it drop at idle?
How low?

You may have a restriction

Mine reads 90psi when cold, 30psi when idle warm, and around 60psi while cruising.

My car runs at 80-90psi at 2700-3400rpm after it's warmed up and 90-95psi at 3500-4200rpm. The speeds are 60-65mph and 75-85mph. Like I said though, this is a brand new oil pump with maybe 1000 miles. The engine runs strong. No idle drop what so ever. When I push the clutch in it drops to 1300-1400rpm and psi hits 40-45psi and then after say a second or less itll return to 900rpm at 30psi.

Do you think it could just be breaking in? I didn't replace rings or bearings but the motor was in great condition when inspected and semi torn down.
