Well, it's unique, I'll give you that.
How much is:
1) your oil filter?
2) a new starter?
3) Alternator?
4) heck... plug wires?
You've designed a car that is far too expensive to maintain, however the novelty is great.
When I started to swap engines 15 years ago, we used to remove the aluminum blocks from Jaguars and BMW's and install v-8's, so the cost of ownership, parts and engine weight was significantly reduced; not increased.
When we yanked the engines from both Jag's and BMW's, we were replacing the $600 alternators and starters with $35 GM parts and often times removed over 110 lbs. of dead weight, as both manufacturers used extremely heavy castings, which the GM v-8 was both lighter and cheaper to increase HP, (and no $pecial tools).
It is definitely about the money and as long as it is, this build is not sustainable.
All that said, you show me a Ferrari with a DET in the rear end, I'm very interested.
