How to bypass speed cut on gtir ecu
I have been trying to search and figure how others did this since shutting down at 115 is lame. I need to be able to go past that but not sure what needs to be done to get me there. Any info is appreciated.

You can cut the speed sensor wire at the ECU

Pin 32 (yellow w/green)

Or get an HKS/Greddy/other de-limiter

I cut it at the trans and it still shuts down at 115

You need to use a delimiter device as mentioned above. Simply cutting the speed sensor doesn't work beacuse the ECU needs speed input. The limit defenders modify the speed signal between the cluster and the ECU so the ECU never 'sees' above the limiter, but it still sees speed input.

So the defender thats built in to greddy emanate ultimate should work then ?

If its designed to intercept the speed signal then yehp, i'd say it would.

I'll give it a try. It's frustrating shutting down at 115. I sit on the limiter in the quarter

Same ecu pin on BB and av ecu`s...and getting cut off at 115 is extremly lame!! =(

yeah cutting the wire at the ecu should work. It has no other way to get a speed reading to shut you down. Its worked on several jdm ecu's ive done on swaps.

just get an apexi RSM that will delimit your car
