Slave cylinder?
When I was daily driving the Gti-R, the clutch pedal would occasionally sink to the bottom and would get stuck, I'd have to pull it back up and try to shift by pushing down and pulling it back up.

This would be an intermittent problem and would go away and come back. Usually the more traffic I was in, the more it would act up.

I have the stock fly wheel and pressure plate as far as I know but the clutch is a pretty stiff clutch, something like Zoo or something like that from Japan.

Now my question is, should I have to replace the slave cylinder? If so, what are good alternatives? I'd appreciate any help or suggestions.

Thank you.

Howzit Godzuki? You shouldn't have to. The same thing happened to my R about two years ago. My slave cylinder was leaking bad. What i did was rebuilt the slave cylinder, fairly easy. Here's the part number that I used:

Japan brand Seiken slave cyl repair kit # SK51981 (3/4 inch), crossed to a Doorman kit # CSK351038. Here's the site that tells you what other Nissan model uses the kit Detail Buyers Guide

I tried to cross it to Napa, but their site is currently down. Maybe you can take this Doorman part number to you local parts store or find a rebuild kit for a 3/4 inch size cup slave cylinder? Also, check the slave cylinder wall to make sure that it's still fairly smooth. You don't want to install the new kit only to get torn up by the slave cylinder wall. Hope that helps

Wow thats quite helpful good sir. I'll look into the rebuild kit, how long did it take you to rebuild it?

I really do appreciate it man, thanks for taking the time to respond.

It took me about an hour. Two bolts holding the cyl and the hyd line. After the rebuild, bleed the line as if you would with brakes.
