For sure man, if all else fails though, to run the car down the track I will put a fwd p11

tranny in it and run fwd if I have to...don't want to resort to that but if I go through like

5 trannys i might...

im sure that those transmissions are probably a dime a dozen, just run them and blow them lol.

They are... lol But i don't want to be swapping transmissions every weekend, You think a

fwd tranny is hard to stick in...try one of these awd ones... lol

If you think you might end up going fwd with a GIT-R then, why didn't you buy a B13/B14? Awd is what makes these cars special..

why not jut try to obtain a power goal that is going to be efficent enough to not destroy the transmissions lol

ya there seems to be a limit of about 300whp on SR transmissions. Even the strongest ones. Perhaps we can have something engineered for the p11 trans as well to prevent this issue. Seems like we need some help making transmissions that will hold up. Seriously.

I wonder if you can use a transmission from another car? Or just have custom gears made that are larger if space isn't much of a limitation? Hell I don't know. I just really hope you find an option. I wanna see a 9 sec pulsar.

You will see a 9 sec pulsar for sure. Just getting it to were I can run it back to back 9 sec

without breaking every other race day will be the problem. The engine building is already in

the works

Have you tried any road course driving? It's really a lot of fun. Stock power would plenty for that venue. This would solve the high power destruction of the transmission.

I'm not trying to be a buzzkill, its just that sometimes the car just tells you what it is suited to.

Drag racing is hard on an all wheel drive car. There is less tire slip so the drivetrain takes much more abuse.

keirons gearbox did get used, in the widebodied white GTiR further up posted by jagy. the gearbox died at oulton park due to driver error not the box, the driver went to select 5th and obviously there isnt one, so he went to select back into 3rd and accidently selected 1st

AFAIK they are repairing the box and in time we shall see how well it holds up on the strip
