need head help (CAMS)
alright so heres the thing, i bought a pulsar swap for the block and head. i noticed that the valves were different from my other stock head that was pulled from the car. the "new" head that came with the swap seems to have different exhaust valves that say "5C" on them where the other head it didn't say anything. the springs look a little bigger too. then i noticed the rocker arms are almost brand new (not even a hair scratch) and the cams we're the same. so i figured if somebody went this far then it had to be port and polished. so i noticed that the intake runners have been polished up couldn't tell from all the carbon on the exhaust side but im guessing its port and polished too. then i decided to check the cams, and here's the weird part i found a stamp on it but i noticed "53J" now this is a non turbo fwd motor. i did searching and found that the DE cams are 248 duration, same as the gti-r so these cams are fine to run for more power? im planning atleast 450wheel+
