Thread: Temp sensor

I am tired of having the 1100+ rpm idle. Already done pressure test, corrected all leaks, but idle does not come down. The idle screw is all the way in. Someone mentioned it could be the temp sensor. I currently have a blue head temp sensor, is this the correct one, or should I use the red head one?.

The fans kick in correctly, and I don´t have any overheating issues for now.

red is for b13's. The blue one is the one you need, that's the jdm and b14udsm sensor i believe.

the water temp sensor is the same as a b13

****---are you sure? I got a sr20 jdm that had the blue one, I thought all jdm engines had the blue one?
