Downpipe Ripped
So I was at the County fair, and parking was on grass, right off the road. As I was backing up to leave, my huge 6" resonator got caught on the road, thus pushing the whole exhaust towards the front and crushing the downpipe.

The resonator is now vibrating like crazy, the car got louder, torquer, and not raspy whats so ever.

I would keep it like if the resonator wasn't vibrating against the car LOL.

Anyway, so should I by another header with 2.5" DP, or should I just get something smaller, like 2.25"?

Also does anyone have a 2.5" DP for sale?

Haha oh man that really sucks!! I do have a suggestion though. You may be able to bend it out? Or have an exhaust shop give it a try. I'm sure they would do it for free or really cheap.

It seems like the flex pipe is the only thing damaged, who ever invented flex pipes, THANK YOU!

If it wasn't for the flex pipe I would have chipped a block hehe.

I think I saw flex pipes alone on ebay, but that would require welding it on etc hehe...

it would simply be just cutting out your old one and welding on the new flex pipe....

yepp i would go with either fist one or third one (im omitting the second one because it says the ends are aluminized....its going to be very hard to find somebody who can weld that ....

one quick question is your down pipe alum? if so i dunno if you will be able to find somebody who can weld hat for cheap (might be cheaper o just get another scondary or simply another header kit)

from what i think, you cant weld alum to easy ..or something els funny about the alumin. welding

Ohhh good catch, well I'll see if I want to go down that route. Sometimes its cheaper to get a new DP LOL

Also, any of you have any experience with smaller diameter DP's? I wouldn't mind more low end torque for better MPG's
