Coil packs Float!!!
I'm having problems getting my power fc to save changed settings on my 95 240sx with a s13 blacktop. I got plenty of responses to how to fix the problem which came down to a constant 12v on toggle for the ecu power. I wired it u accordingly and now my car won't hit a lick. So naturally out of fear I rewired things back to normal and still nothing. So I started the checklist and when I got to checking spark I Found my Coil Packs Floating in OIL!!!! This is a brand new build and obvisiously the spark plug wells didn't seal. Now my question is would that destroy the coil packs and how can I test them other than checking spark? I hate when u get two potiental problems at the same time!

Thanks for any help

Stick a screw driver in it and lay it on the valve cover. unplug the injector or just have someone crank the car to see if u get any arching. Could be your ignitor tho.

Thanks for the help guys but it turns out its my ECCS relay. The ecu is sending 12v instead of a ground signal to the relay so its not energizing.

Now problem found but how do I solve it? Plz any suggestions would help. Oh and this is a one week old power fc I just installed.
