anyone ever deal with a code 11 (crank angle sensor) b13
So I've had this code pop up before, cleared it and havent seen it come back up till recently. Now its there everytime i start the car. It doesnt seem like this is a common issue as far as i have seen from looking around but wondering if anyone has had this come up before. I tried swapping the dizzy from my spare motor and its still there so unless for some reason the sensor is bad on both dizzy's it has to be something else.
I know there is a test procedure in the fsm but honestly i'm not to familiar with a mulitmeter so wondering if anyone wants to subscribe to this thread and help me out. I'd like to follow the fsm procedure of testing the harness and dizzy but i really am not sure what I'm looking at when using a multimeter, I have an idea as to where to set the multimeter but no clue as to what it's showing is good or bad Like resistance/continuity.
If anyone wants to help me out/clarify some stuff for me I'd appreciate it. Thanks Dave

CAS, or any position sensor is best to test with an oscilloscope. Multimeters are simply not sufficient.

If you swapped the whole distributor, wiring would be the next natural suspect.

Maybe someone who had similar experiences could chime in?
