Thread: B13 ser problem

can someone plz me....i just put an high port in my ser and everything connected in its right place.....im getting fuel and spark the injector are firing but it wont stay on no longer than 2 sec it starts then just shut right off....someone plz help

timing correct? Just cause you get spark and fuel doesn't mean your engine is timed right (both mechanical and electric).

wrong section, and check your fuel lines they may be crossed...

the motor is time correct......cause i took the motor out of a running g20t and put it in the b13

Well, pretty hard to diagnose over the net. Do you have a CEL light or does it not get that far? By chance do you know if your ECU is in limp mode? Does it stumble to a stahl or does it just stop? How long was your car sitting, bad gas? You check your grounds?

I would just go get an FSM and start the trouble shoot process. If you follow it about 60% of the time you will find the problem pretty fast. And you don't need a consult to do it they have in a lot of the older cars FSMs how to do it without a Consult.

when i turn the ignition on the fuel pump prime....but the CEL doesnt go away......then it starts for about a sec then shut off

Does it stay on if you continue to give it gas? Either with the pedal or at the throttle plate?

Is the hose from the intake mani to the intake pipe connected?

BbCheck all vacuum hoses, u may have torn 1 of them or pinched it.. And check those codes, usually that's the very first place I start.
