TPS not changing voltages
Car is a 01 Sentra SE. I just bought a new tps sensor and was testing the voltage so i could adjust it but a closed throttle it reads .18 and doesnt change when i give it throttle. My safc reads the about the same but when u unplug the connectors the safc jumps back up to 4v. Is my ecu the cause?

with a multimeter can you pick up the 5v off the tps?

Yes the red power wire is picking up 5v.

If I unplug the top connector it goes from .18 connected to 2.28 unconnected.

Before i put this new sensor on the old one was reading 2.28 no matter how much throttle i gave it. Checked the connection at the ecu harness through my opening where i had my safc spliced in and it read the same voltage 2.28

Did you try disconnecting the TPS input into the SAFC and see if it changes to normal? You could have an internal problem in the TPS. Have you tried adjusting the TPS?

No i havent tried that. Shouldnt have an internal problem its brand new. Yes tried adjusting but doesnt change volts at all no matter how much throttle i give it just stays at .18
