head bolt repair...
Me and my buddy was torquing down a de head to block and at 58ft lbs it snapped. The threads from the block came off out of the block. Was wondering have anyone of you had this problem and how you fix it. i called a shop and they say the could do it but it be $100 and take a week and a half.

Pull everything apart and put helicoil in the block... $100 isn't too bad. Better than doing it yourself and being crooked or messing up since you haven't done before.

^ agreed. I would have the machine shop do it. It is pretty easy to screw up a helicoil if you are not careful.
