p10 temp sender/sensor
The temp sensor that sends the temp straight to the gauge cluster. Is it wired directly to the cluster or runs through the ecu first? My temp gauge has not been working, I thought it was a break in the line as the sensor was new, so I wired it directly to the cluster. The temp gauge worked for about a day or so. I put a new sensor in again and did the same, worked for about 10 minutes. I picked the sensor that was for my year car, so I believe I am using the right sensor. Car is a 95.

Runs fine with no issues or overheating, just would like the gauge to work.

theres 2 sensors on the back side of the engine....one is for the dash and the other is for the ecu

the dash gauge is crap anyway.....doesn't even move till it's at like 170 or some stupid crap.....i understand wanting it to at least show you something but you might as well just get an aftermarket gauge and sender and have the real info

the sensor with just one wire is the one for the dash btw

I understand. I honestly dont care for it. But I am selling the car and having a working temp gauge gives peace of mind.
