Thread: Cutting out issue is back

So i had a issue this weekend with the car cutting out at 65k and abouve, well all in all we found a loose screw for the speedo return wire so the ecu was freaking, tightened screw in the cluster and it was fine....till today

Now almost constantly after any time i get on her, she feels like she is cutting out and hitting a wall, not just bogging but cutting out. I cant drive her the way she is now.

I have a better dizzy to go on the car, and think im throwing a knock sensor and egr code? Any ideas guys, i even unplugged vvl msd and had the same issues happening.

I was only high reving her for the video to show wtf was going on. I limped her the rest of the way, it was hell in rush hour traffic trying to get her home.


And nice to know im not the only one. Hopefully we will get it figured out.

i hope. my car doesnt do it as bad when i hit 4800 rpms it starts to shimmy and cut out than when it hits 6000 rpms it pics back up an starts to pull but than its to the point to shift. but mine doesnt do it when its cold only when it gets to normal running temp

That seems timing related to me. Def try swapping that dizzy first before anything else and see if it still behaves the same.

arent you using the hacked up frankenstein dizzy bullcrap? that would be my first place to look
