DET no spark ?
i just finished putting my car back together after a clutch change, however now the car cranks put won't start. I checked for gas and spark and no spark... Distributor was never touched during the clutch change, any fuses that i could check ? Also the light on the dash is dimmed low, even if it has a fully charged battery.. don't know if it might related to the problem. The starter does go and it is sending gas, new spark plugs in.

Engine control fuse in the bay,

That is if you dont have any power to the coil. Thats where your ignition power to the coil comes from. 25 amp fuse in the bay

i had this happen once, a friend put the starter cable on crooked causing it to touch the other post on the solenoid, so right when i hooked the battery up, POP that fuse/link thing blew..

the fuse can be found in the SMALL fuse box between the driver side fender and the battery..

If you were just changing a clutch and this happened, did you unplug any wires besides the transmission wires.

The only other thing i can think of is that if you unplugged the coil and plugged the reverse sensors plug into the coil and the coil into the reverse sensor. If so you might want to check that. Pretty simple being the coil wire is on the same strand of harness as the distributor while the reverse switch plug is on the same strand as the other transmission plug and so on. Ive seen several people do that. I just dont understand how being you would have to stretch the coil plug wire down to the trans while the trans one would be nice and loose. When both freely reach their designated plugs there wont be any doubts.

But if you lost power to your coil it comes from that engine control fuse on the driver side between the fender well and battery. Square 25amp brown fuse. First thing I would do is check for 12v at the coil with the key on.

If your fuel pump is turning on like normal then its nothing on your eccs side of things as that powers on the ecu.

Correct me if I'm wrong here, but i think your mistaken the plugs people usually mix up.. its the o2 sensor plug and the coil plug (I believe) that get mixed up..

Again, correct me if I'm wrong.

The one on the trans for reverse? Or it maybe neutral I forget, but I'm pretty sure its square, more like the distributor plug.

But, I think you have a valid point an that could very likely be the issue.

I know the wiring harness like the back of my hand. The reverse switch on the trans is a two wire plug oval, same type of plug as the coil. There is also a plug for the egr temp sensor as well is a two wire oval plug as well same type as the coil. Its the one for the trans that people get confused. Trust me my buddy called me after getting his motor back in the car and it wouldnt fire up. I said to check the plugs and he actually had two plugged in wrong. The reverse sensor from trans into the coil and vise versa also the Ignitor chip and o2 sensor use the same 3 wire plug as well. I dont know how he managed to get that one mixed up but he did. hahahaha

That's what i was thinking of sorry, the Ignitor chip and o2 sensor share the same type plug, which is a big oval, then there's the smaller ovals for the other ones that's right.
