Need A 91 Nx1600 Wiring Diagram To Wire Into A 93 SER Sentra(EDITED 1-16-12)
ok ive read the threads about it and searched for other ways of doing this . but i really only see one way from researching .

im thinking of just re pinning the ser harness onto the nx1600 cluster pigtails . would that be fine or just wire off the 2 harnesses by extending wires .

ive been following SinisterSentra & MOJO's threads on this . but if anyone who has done this in a different way . very much appreciate extra help and different ways of doing this .

this is the diagram ive been following

EDIT 1-16-12

As Ive Been Discussing This With MOJO . He Brought To My Attention Of The Cluster Wiring May Be Different .

Now Im Looking For A NX1600 Digi Cluster Wiring Diagram To Swap Onto A 93 Sentra Ser .

It's possible to repin the left and right plugs. The middle plug has to be soldered (or connected otherwise) cause the pins aren't exchangeable.

I've done this myself last sunday.

You need to pay extra attention to what you're doing though, since you have to pick a pin, put it in the correct spot, and then take the pin you just removed to put the first pin into the correct spot (still following me?), and put it in a new spot.

In other words, you need to re-pin them in a certain order. Also, you still need about 3 wires for the IGNITION parts, whereas there's only 1 coming from the car.

You might need a few more wires, but you may be able to leave out a few pins, so you can re-use the wires for other purposes (for example, on the stock wireloom, there's about 4 wires for ground, and I think you only need 3, so 1 wire can be cut to fit elswere. Also, there's an OD Off wire you won't use, so the pin can be used. For example for the aforementioned IGNITION pins).

EDIT: As I have said in my write-ups, the diagrams you mention are only helpful so far, because the layout of the warning/indicatorlights may vary. Which leads to variations in the layout of the plugs themselves. Only plug that is the same on all clusters is the central black one.

I wired one into my 92 ser, with no issues. Works well. Its actually easier if you have a 93-94 bc you already have an electric Speedo. Personally I don't think it's worth the hassle.
