It is super easy. I did a job for the fourth time on my own engine and once again, success.

Kimme could do this by herself, just follow the directions and take your time.

yep its real easy. make sure to follow the proper torque sequence on the cam cap bolts and do use a torque wrench.

Piece of cake man. I always tie wrap the cam gears on 2 separate links per gear just so I don't lose timing. You won't need to set at TDC this way. You will need to loosen the chain idler before removing the gears first, then after you get all of that done support the chain and gears by a piece of wire attached to the hood. Then it's just a matter of removing the cam caps in proper order. There is a write up on this.

I used 2 zip ties on each gear, there's no way to mess up the timing that way =p

I just installed some cams into my VE. Install for S4's should be fairly similar...

In addition to the above recommendations;

Just make sure to remove the chain tensioner or you wont be getting those cam gears out (I think I followed JWT the first time I did mine and it was missing this part if the instructions as my car as a 98 and it took me an extra hour to figure it out the first time I installed my set of cams).

Now, shouldn't take me more thank 45mins to 1 hour

P.S. quick question; does the 98 onwards engines before the RR have an updated/different chain tensioner??
