Check out this axle
I pulled this off of my new NX today. It definitely does not look like an Sr20 axle. Has anybody ever seen an SR20 passenger axle that looks like this? It kinda looks like a GA16 axle to me. Best part was when I got under the car and saw that the support bracket was missing. Serious WTH moment.

Wha?! Did it drive and turn without any issue?

I have never driven the car. The previous owner drove it a little bit before it blew the block. I'm pretty sure the guy before me didn't put this in as he only had the car for a few days before it blew up. Most people really didn't give a damn about these cars, lol.

Other things I've found are a seized transmission drain plug, the steering rack only has one of the bushings on. The head is super sludged.

Good thing for this car is that I'm not going to neglect it like its previous owners.

Like you said it does look like a GA16 shaft.. Which makes me wonder if they fit!
Alternatively.. The N15 pulsar VZ-R's use a one piece shaft like that, but I think those shafts only fit the LSD transmission.

Here is my shaft from my pulsar with a normal bolt to the block shaft. Both for an SR

That def does look like a GA16 axle... damn

I'm the previous owner, and as to if it drove straight and turned.. Yes it did. It turned with no problem, and drove pretty straight. I would have never guess it had the wrong axles...

Looks just like the axle in my ga, I wonder if it is any stronger being that it is a thicker shaft

IIRC all NX transmissions are LSD, since it was a heavier car...

but looking at it more closely, it is a GA16 axle.
Only the 1.6 axles have those three "indentation" where it goes into the transmission.
