Cleaning injectors, any tips?
Want to do it, but how? Soak them in gasoline? Ultrasonic cleaning?

Also, are they prone to break during removal?

send them out..
have them professionally done. you should get a report card on their condition and flow #'s. fyi the plastic pintle caps are prone to cracking/breaking you may want to replace them.

i used these guys. they'll include new o'rings.

very pleased with the service.

Yeah... About the link: I'm from Holland :P

But yeah, figured as much. We have an ultrasonic water cleaner at my job, figured I could use it to clean them.

if you have trouble removing the injectors from the rail, which you might. there is a trick, you gotta use a wide flathead screwdriver and pry between the injector(where the plug comes out) and the rail.

A pintle cap is used to try to reduce the deposits on injectors and may affect spray pattern.

fuel injector system cleaner and drive the mofo for lots of miles (1000+) with teh vpower petrol and repeat every 6 months the cleaner

p.s. friend of mine in racing similar car but Toyoda, told me working at the 'injector cleaning service avail shop' not to send in the injectors would be 160 euro, 40 euro each, possibly more because 'the fixating the injector in the injector clean machine' was a manual job that could make it more expensive then 40 each

And that (our) injectors hardly fail and if they do you will know..
