lowport rear coolant heater hose question
so before leaving work, i noticed a leak coming from the pass side near the axle n oil pan and it was dripping while the car was on and started pouring out when off. I have a lowport and its coming from the smaller of the 2 hoses. My question for you guys is, is those hoses a dealer item only. The dealer wants like 40 bucks for both and it will take 3 days and thats just crazy and i cant find it at advance or anything. I need the hoses within a day. Greg v prolly has them and in silicone but he's outta town and i dont wanna miss work. Does anyone know if they can be bought locally. Any help would be greatly appreciate

Within a day you'll be hard pressed to find anything. You may be able to remove them and have a place like Napa or CarQuest match the hose size, but I'm not sure how long that would last anyway. You might end up with this same problem in a few months again.

Take bad hose off, go to Advance/Checker/Autocrap/Napa/Etc. Ask them to let you back where the heater hoses are. Choose the closest match. Purchase. Replace. Flush/bleed. Drive.

you can buy heater hose and cut it to desired lenghth ,

it will solve your problem today and for a while , unless you decide if you want a OEM one.

^^^ This.... Use liquid dish soap to lubricate the fittings & inside the ends of the hose for easier fit.
