Thread: Broke my trans mount...

Broke off all 3 bolts....
It took the axle with it....
New tires + stage 3 clutch..... not a good combo for how I drive..........

That one was rusting out on my car before i replaced all 4 mounts. I see how that could have happened.

It broke the mount at the same spot... You can see it on the 3rd picture where it is that it's broke on the mount

I don't know what to do about that hole there where there seems to not even be a bolt.......... =/

Dayum! That's impressive for sure. I've stripped the top bolt out but that was N/A. I still need to re-tap and put a fresh insert in.

Yeah, time for 4 new mounts. Obviously they were not doing their job. Plus it looks like someone left out a bolt... ?

Nice. Did something similar with my old talon, hit a huge pot hole and broke the two bolts that hold the intermediate shaft to the engine and destroyed a brand new axle. It was fun trying to get the two broken bolts out

lol Just going to weld it up... It'll be stronger than new plus I can't really afford the new mount with the axle I just spend $76 on! Haha

It actually appears that it broke off and took a chunk of the metal with it... I'm not sure how that could have happened but uhhhh I guess I would recommend these tires considering I have them at 35psi
