The car dies after driving for a time.
There aren't a exactly time, but aproximately after 15 minutes of driving, the car dies. The engine can't be turn on. After 10 minutes, the engine can start on again.

Symptoms are similar to a fuel pump failure.
Here is the link where I write about the problem.

But according to my mechanic, the fuel pump works well, because when the car don't want to start, we can hear the fuel pump is working when the key is turned to the on position.

Remembering that a 2 years ago, I broke down the coil, I was changing the sparks plugs and I forgot put back the sparkplug wires. I tried to start the engine, seconds after, appeared a lot of smoke and the engine died after that. After that, I put back the sparkplugs wires in the sparkplugs, ando I tried to Start the engine again without lucky. I had to replace the entire distributor with coil.

The same smoke that happened when my car died a months ago.

Here is the link.

Today, I opened the hood with the engined turned on. I tried to see if there was a something wrong with the distributor. When I touched the distributor cap, I received a cramp.

I was thinking that maybe is the distributor or coil. Bad luck that my car have Internal coil.

What do you think?

sounds like it could be the fuel pump but i had a dizzy issue before it ended up being the optical sensor in the distributor

I have been having similiar issues, and I'm pretty sure it's ignition related. My spark is strong when the engines cold, not so much when hot.

most likely it is a problem with the dist. or the coil or ignitor chip. i had this problem a few months ago with my b13.

also check your spark with a screw driver on metal when i had the dist problem the spark was yellow not white like normal this indicates weak ignition system

Not exactly the same, but my ground wires (engine to chassis) were in really bad shape and it was causing me to stall out and once the engine wouldn't start. It doesn't say if you are in a salting state, and it probably isn't your issue, but it is a cheap repair to check out.

change your cap and coil wire. You have a crack in one of them I'm betting.

this sensor does nothing but check for disruption in the flywheel ie missfire. I have ran my car with it, with out it (just hole in tranny), and with it broken. It does not affect the function of the car what so ever in our cars. All it does is turn on the CEL if it see's a problem.

Could be intermittent fuel relay problem or like a lot said distros go bad. The last time I had one go out I recall the distro shocked me a little before I replaced it. I keep a few handy now.
