How to clean glass headlights and fogs?
I was wondering if it's possible to clean a glass headlight lense with CLR. I have the sunny gt-s headlights on my car and one of them looks dirty/cloudy from the inside. If I were to swish CLR in the headlight would it strip the chrome off the housing?

I also took apart my sunny gt-s fogs to modify the projectors. I had yellow film on them. I took the film off and I noticed one of the housings had some yellowish brownish color to it. It wasn't like that before I put the film on. Is it repairable? I don't want to shell out $200+ for some used fogs. Did it become like that from moisture getting into it? Any help is appreciated.

Just seperate the lenses and clean that way.

So should the CLR work? The foglight has the coloring in the housing and not the lense. I would prefer to not separate the foglight lense from the housing.

I would take a cotton swab and test any chemical you want to use on a small portion before continuing. I would think it would work though.

I've used that a few times on a few different cars. It works amazing, but it only works for plastic lenses. My headlight is glass and is dirty on the inside.

The one you sent me is fresh. But it's not the housing on the other headlight that's bad it's just the glass. The chrome housing on my gt-s fog is brownish though. I was told it couldve been from a leak.
