ARP Head Studs TQ numbers?
I'm still in the works of doing a head swap and I've gotten my hands on the studs that were with the head. They are reusable and I do plan on using them. But I don't know the actually torque specs of the studs. I assume the nuts get torqued down to factory specs?

Info would be great guys... THX!

We thread the studs in hand tight, then tighten the nuts to around 90ft lbs. Then a few days later, retorque them.

Why 90Ft lbs? Is that recommended? What about the the torquing down procedures in the FSM?

No, that's not what ARP recommends. I dont remember exactly what the specs were. This one just on a car with ALOT of nitrous and the specs that ARP gave was too low. We had to do a ton of headgasket replacements on that thing years ago and going so high on the tq really helped out.
