i recomend amsoil sso one of the best, also tried eneos oil, it too is good, neither of them are cheap last amsoil oil change with their filter cost almost 100.00 but i tihnk its worth it, prices will vary from dealer to dealer tho,its normally like 20 for filter and 11 or so per qt

amsoil sso signature series 0w-30 is some of the best period. amsoil isnt hype, evo, subaru, all the higher end performance cars run it.

I'll give you that amsoil is good stuff, but it's not worth what you pay. I'd only run amsoil in a track/drag car.

For our lightly modded sr20's though you won't get what you pay for. You'll get the same performance from German Castrol at a fraction of the cost.

I've got the 0-30 German Castrol in my turbo setup. It seems pretty good and its on sale now at Autozone iirc. On BITOG and in my previous UOAs they say it acts more like a 40 weight when warmed up.

Amsoil lasts a really long time but the only local dealer went out of business. It may not be worthwhile dollar for dollar but it really saves time. If time is money to you it is absolutely worth it.

It occurred to me I need something thicker for my car since its boosted but the only thing I can find is 5-40 M-1 for turbo-diesels. Part of me is thinking 'oil is oil' but I don't wanna **** my car up.
