BC stage 2 numbers....
anyone have any dyno sheets of before and after installing these cams?

im interested in knowing what some of you guys made with these, they will be under the tree on the 25th!!

what kind of power can i expect? im hoping for around 160-170whp

heres my motor setup;
hiport DE 130k miles
19* timing
ALWAYS use 93 octane gas
cai
headers/2''dp with DEI wrap
2.25 headers back
no cat
no egr
no ac
no Power steering

i know with tuning i will make the best power, but what can actually be tuned with out a piggyback(safc) or ecu? i mean how can i gange anyting with just dyno time? i cant right? until i get an safc......

would cam gears help out alot?

I thought these cams were for turbo motors only.

No offense, but you will not hit 160whp with these cams. They also need some tuning. Get some cam gears, so you can dial them in. They are NOT a drop in cam, they need to be dialed in with cam gears. Once you dial them in there will be some gains, but still not as much as a set of s4's and after you buy cam gears, go get them tuned, the cost would equal the same price as s4's.

just for reference my s3's gave me more power then these.

These cams are either NA or Turbo, but designed off of a turbo motor. They require cam gears to extract the full potential. STG 2's are okay for drop in, STG 3's definitely need cam gear tuning.

here we go with the comparison with s4's he didnt ask to compare the 2 cams he asked about BC stage 2 cams. second when you say not a drop in cam what do you mean by that. because from what i know a NON drop in cam means that you cant just put them in and go you have to buy s/r or whatever the case may be. They def are a drop in cam. As far as i know mostly every cam is not perfect and you would gain some horespower with cam gears n e ways.

bottom line you wont get thoes numbers man. not without tunning at least. they are a great cam for the price. you will def feel the diffrence from your stock cams. I have a set of these and when i put them in plus 19 degrees my car was a diffrent animal. add in a 2.5 or 2.75 exhaust to your car + cam gears and it will feel better. add a tune after cam gears and the rest is up to you and the rest of your mods to get 160

Even for N/A?

A friend used BC2's being N/A and the car was actually slower according 1/4 mile times

Yeah I was off one tooth on the crank.

BC STG2 cams are fine, drop in. They're not full of R&D like JWT is, though. JWT cams are TRUE drop in cams. They are profiled perfectly. The larger the cam you go on BC's, the more you have to dial them in.

Jen -

Did you get the 4 door running again yet? You put those parts back on?

When I first did my stage 3's I ended up being off 1 tooth too lol. Tekkie which do you have 2's or 3's? I hope to dyno tune my pos around march or so. It's probably gonna take an entire day to go through everything though since there are SO many things that could be off lol. I wish we didn't have to remove the vc each time to adjust cam gears though.
