GA/auto shifter cable install & now it's cutting in & out
I just put in a new/old auto shifter control cable in my Nx (this 1 came from a 93 Nx1600), since mine was apparently worn or stretched (we couldn't adjust it anymore). Couldn't feel the indents of each gear nor did the needle work right.
Anyways, just got it all switched out. Had an issue there for a bit where I couldn't push in the button on the shifter to switch gears, so we had to switch it to Neutral underneath it or it wouldn't start otherwise. Had this issue once before (but only once) with the old shifter cable.

So we think we got that figured out (hopefully). Needle is still off some, can't seem to dial that in.

Took it down the road for a spin and it got up to about 2200 rpm and would start cutting in and out (like a slow rev limiter). Brought her back and she continously did it everytime @ about 2200.
Anyone have any idea's what it is? Thinking it has to be something with the shifter cable since that's all we've fucked with lately.
We'll be checking maf tomorrow along with looking over the cable again.

Well luckily found that the maf was completely unplugged, I suspect it happened while running a grounding kit wire under the intake from the strut tower to the tb. It must've slipped out and been overlooked.
