It IS a fun car. I have one as well, a 1988 model. Had a crate shipped from the US with a Sportbak, along with other goodies (including a tranny with LSD, axcles, mounts and such for a future swap to CA18DET).
Check out www.nissanexa.com (EXA being the AUDM/JDM designation of the Pulsar NX).
The fun thing is, it's the predecessor of the B13 NX. There's not many options for customizing it, though. However, coilovers for a B13 will fit the Pulsar NXs.
So yeah, it's a fun car, don't expect a lot of room in them though (backseat/trunk). In the front though, you'll have plenty of space.
However, what little space you have in the trunk is kept, even when removing and storing the T-tops, because there's a double floor in the trunk, where the spare and the T-tops can be stored.
Because it's an Arizona-based car, it probably won't be very rusty, so that's a good thing.
The only thing that strikes me as odd, is the fact that it's listed as an 1.6 (CA16DE), while the '89 SE-model is usually a CA18DE (the other being the XE, E16i up to 1989, GA16i afterwards). On the other hand, it doesn't have the updated seats and the electric windows the '89 models have. So maybe an early '89 model.
If you can find a Sportbak for a good price (some can be found), you have a very special car, a station-wagon with removable T-tops.
Also, if you're from a state where there's a lot of sunshine, you can even drive around without the trunklid, creating a semi-convertible car.
So yeah, if you have the money to spare, and like the car, buy it! Even for an old car like that, it has many options, like the mentioned A/C, but also stuff like electronic mirrors, seatbelt-warning, dimmable dashlights, speakers in the back (just like the B13 NX).
Also, it looks REALLY clean!
