I am in the market for a diesel truck. I am looking for the 06-07 LBZ Duramax or an 07 and older Cummins. Any thoughts on either. I am trying to stay away from the 07 and up emissions.
Dodge truck are kind of light in the ass for my taste. Its great if you have a load on, but if you aren't hauling the rear gets kind of squirrely. I prefer Ford, then Chevy.

As much as I can't stand Dodge, the Cummins is the one that dominates the truck pulls at all the fairs I go to. Good powertrain and torquey. The Fords and Chevys have a hard time pulling as much. Never driven one, but see plenty in action.
