Nismo Leaf
2012 Nissan Leaf Nismo - Top Speed

Nissan is reducing a nismo juke, nismo gtr, as well as a few others it sounds. I love the leaf, i want to get one eventually since the wife drives 80 miles round trip to save on gas, and i just love the idea of them and to stick my nose up at prius owners, but seeing this nismo version.....i just may have to. I know some hate electric cars, but not what this is a discussion about.

The leaf usually only gets a 60 miles charge. I work for nissan right by leaf and thats the consenses. 80 if you baby it. It's suppose to get 100 miles though.

From what i heard if you use the ac and shit alot it gets around 60, but thats the nice thing about the pnw, usually dont use ac. ANd wifes work just put in a charging station.

Don't get too used to the free charging. Once a few more of these hit the grid... the utilities love these cars. And in PNW that's mostly hydro.

Like the look. Aero is surely a plus but seems like the extra lights and 18" wheels is a little counterproductive.

No, electric motors have instantainious torque and as the RPMs increase, torque decreases. If you keep the electric motor RPM down, your range is better.
