How to get adjustement for your clutch cable when you have run out!
This used to be the 97cent clutch cable trick, but due to recent times, I found out that the price has gone up on the brass reducer. (Someone at Home Depot probally read the threads)
The key is to get a 3/4 to 1" copper reducer, a 1" washer and put it on your clutch cable bracket. It will push your cable back and allow more adjustment. I figured this out one day when I got tired of the creeking the clutch bracket made when I slotted it and watched bend while the clutch was depressed.

This what you do:

The reason you need to put a washer behind the reducer is because the brass reducer will start to work it's way into the rubber bushing and you will slowly lose adjustment again.
