Thread: B13 Motor mounts on P10

does anyone know if they fit? Like the hole mount. And if it doesnt, are the inserts the same?

They aren't the same mounts, you can trim B13 rear cross member Prothane inserts to fit the P10 rear cross member. The trans. mount is different but I am sure someone has used other things to make it fit.

The right hand side, passenger mount (aka front of engine mount) should be the same insert and press right in. You need to use the P10 outer housing to bolt it into your P10 chassis.

You can make it work with different inserts but the outer shells need to stay with the chassis.

On the trans mount I have to machine a sleeve to press into the mount to make up the difference between the prothane and the shell. That was back in 02'ish. Don't know what has changed since as my G20 is almost at the bottom of my priority list these days.

Im in need of motor mounts.

As you probably know, I have 7 Nissan projects currently in various stages. It's hard to pick which one to work on sometimes, but seeing that my P10 has 360k+ on the original engine & trans, has been driven maybe 500 miles in the 5 years, not to high on the list...

IIRC there were posts some years back on how to make it work. I probably have an extra one somewhere in my basement but good luck finding that. If you used a hockey puck from something else it would work - don't remember what tho...

I've seen hockey puck mod, and bought a couple. Just need to some new cutting disc for the grinder.

There is a prothane that will fit it perfect - I just don't remember what car is was from for the P10. Too dam long ago. You might have to buy several inserts to try if you can't find the info online.

The prothane for the rear motor mount from the sentra fits the g20 rear motor mount.

There is a Prothane that fits the trans - it is for a totally different application thou.

Need part number!!!
