My New '99 P11
Well, I'm back in the SR game X2 again with my 1st G20.
After 4 months I just finished swapping a new RR SR20 into it. The new SR20 received all new gaskets top to bottom so it should be good to go for quite some time. All fluids are flushed and a full tune up was done. Now all I need to do is brakes and and alignment and she'll be fully road worthy. (ok and an intake for the sound)
Yes, it's an auto... but as my DD who cares. If I really end up liking the car it will do a manual swap if not, it stays as is for a few years and then who knows...

Here are some pics of the swap:

Old on the left new on the right

For $40 why not add a SSAC header.

Bottom end of the new RR SR20

We stuck with the JDM oil pick up tube and turned the USDM one into an angry tube.

Big thanks to my buddy JM for helping out with everything

Me in the take a picture of me in the engine bay during a swap pic.

This is a clue as to why the old engine failed. Can you guess the cause?

meh manual swaps are over rated esp if you plan on keeping the car mostly stock stef. looks clean, i would be upset if you posted a dirty pic! now get the white POS ready for the convention!

whats the color code for that, its pretty unique!

I have no idea what the color code is but yes, it's a unique color that seems to change hues under different types of light.
The white POS is next up for a new engine.

You haven't driven and auto P11 then. It's one of the slowest and boring acceleration rides I've ever had. In fact it was so boring I had to alter gravity to have a little fun in the car.

After that auto P11, I've bought 3 more P11's, all 5 speed. The car actually feels semi fast and is fun to drive stock.
