VE water-neck hoses
my girlfriends VE has developed a leak from behind the intake manifold, i took it off a redid the heater core hoses an throttle body hoses but its still leaking, not sure which hose theres like 3? how much for all?

i believe one connects to the water pump, one connects to the head and one is like an extension for the metal pipe.

i still have a feeling that metal pipe is the one leaking bro.
i wonder if the one off the w11 might be made to work?

there should be two back there. You should just pull the im, and even then its a huge pita. Make sure to spot it first you don't want to do this at all much less for no reason. The pipes will corrode and leak occasionally as well.

Well if you want to split hairs you should identify the leak.

buddy, i had the intake manifold off.. i was under the car with it on jackstands while it was running.. i cant SEE the leak.. i should have tore the whole water neck off, but after finding a heater core hose that was leaking, as well as the looped throttle body lines i thought i'd fixed it.. guess not.. me an alan had our hands all over back there and couldn't 100% identify the leak without takin the intake back off which i didnt have time for.

i'd rather replace all the hoses back there to cover my bases an hopefully avoid future problems.

like I clarified.... you can't see the leak in most cases. Tearing it all open doesn't help in many cases....

OK, well the good and bad is only 1 of the hoses is available. The other 2 will have to be sorted. Maybe I can take the other 2 off the motor I have here and see if i can find something,.
