Large Crack on Compressor, OK to Use?
Gonna upgrade my GTiR T28 to an 18G I had bought from a member here. I am finally ready to throw it on to find out when I was removing the snap ring to find this....

I did not see the large crack with the snap ring on it. This was fully rebuilt zer0 miles

..... now would anyone else run this?

NO. That is usually a sign that the turbo has sustained an impact trauma. Whether in an actual wreck or turbo being dropped on the floor. Chances are the housing is not true to the center section, and the blades could come into contact with the housing.

To be safe I would take it to a turbo repair shop and have them inspect it.
