Vet Piston Rod Combo
Looking to do a basic build with a ve for boost. Wanted to see what bore and compression some of you guys would recommend running.

a set I was looking into: CP Pistons Brian Crower Rods SR20VE SR20VET 9 0 1 87mm | eBay

Seems like an ok price. Don't know much that ebay vendor though.

Real St was at the Imports vs. Domestics world cup finals. Signage looks the same, so they are a real shop.

Ive personally ran, used, sold CP for over 10 yrs and never had a single issue with their pistons. No experience with BC rods. I would choose Manley over those honestly.

If you are a fresh block that is still stock, go 86.5mm instead of 87mm. That way it will give you room to up again if something were to happen. IF you go 87 now, then you more than likely will have to sleeve the block if you mess up there. There isnt any 87.5mm pistons off the shelf available. And wont recommend 88mm on boost. Its been done, but I personally dont recommend it.
